Police are appealing for information about a series of suspicious fires reported at Thompsons Beach in Cobram last week.
The three fires, which police have deemed suspicious, were lit around 7.30pm on Wednesday, December 4, on the walking track between the boat ramp and the pump shed.
Cobram Crime Investigation Unit Detective Sergeant Marcus Boyd warned that although the fires were small, they could have had catastrophic consequences.
Police are requesting that any witnesses who may have heard or seen anything relating to the three fires contact Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000 or Cobram Crime Investigation Unit on 5871 1381.
