Police are appealing for dash-cam footage after a car was found alight near Dookie on March 29.
At approximately 7.10am a vehicle was found engulfed in flames at the Nalinga Rest Area on the Midland Hwy.
It had been parked there overnight after running out of fuel.
Firefighters attended the scene and no-one was injured in the blaze, which completely gutted the interior of the car.
