Nuffield Australia has been supporting the agricultural industry through its scholarship programs for more than 70 years.
Scholarships are provided to farmers to research topics that add value to the Australian primary industry sector.
Scholars also take part in study tours, which allow them to explore agricultural practices in other corners of the world.
All scholarships are available to Australian citizens or permanent residents only.
Applications for the 2026 scholarship program and study tour are now open, and close on May 16.
Some of the scholarships are industry and state specific, and more details on the scholarships available can be viewed at www.nuffield.com.au/available-scholarships.
In addition to scholarships supported by longstanding investors, the Future Drought Fund (FDF) is investing in at least five scholarships that are specifically available to study drought resilience and support innovation.
These scholarships will support applicants to build drought resilience expertise, adapt innovative technology and practices from overseas and share these learnings to advance Australian agriculture.
