Elmore residents got together on Australia Day for an event at the Elmore Community Hub.

The morning included a visit from City of Greater Bendigo Mayor and Epsom ward councillor Andrea Metcalf.

Bendigo Highland Pipe Band performed for the crowd while guests enjoyed a barbecue breakfast.

Games like ping pong, cornhole and ring toss were on offer for kids big and small.

The event was rounded out with a morning tea, featuring Aussie favourites like lamingtons, pavlova and fresh scones with jam and cream.
