Australia Day extravaganza: Rotary Club of Seymour unveils jam-packed program at Kings Park

Australia Day celebrations at Kings Park, organised by the Rotary Club of Seymour, will focus on fun, excitement, and community engagement.

The festivities promise an unforgettable experience for residents of all ages with an array of entertaining activities and a delectable program of events.

The day will begin with a hearty breakfast featuring classic egg and bacon rolls from 8am to 10am, followed by the Flag raising ceremony.

There will also be the Police Awards to recognise the outstanding contributions of local law enforcement.

A barbecue lunch provided by the Rotary Club of Seymour begins at 10am and continues until 1pm, followed by Seymour’s Community Service Awards.

Besides the planned program, there will be entertainment including live music performed by the Mitchell Shire Concert Band, face painting, drawing and colouring activities.

The day will also include the annual Seymour Gift Foot Race, with cash prizes available.

The celebration will feature community displays showcasing the talents, initiatives, and services that make Seymour a vibrant and close-knit community.

The Rotary Club of Seymour extends a warm welcome to all residents to join in the festivities at Kings Park, Seymour, on Friday, January 26.
