A Benalla Rural City Council spokesperson said the awards were a way of saying thank you to those who give their time and effort to help make the Rose City a great place to live.
“On Australia Day we celebrate not only the winners, but all the nominees,” the spokesperson said.
Nominations close on Thursday, December 1.
