Benalla’s Mitre 10 has been recognised as having the best garden centre of all its stores across Tasmania and Victoria.
Benalla Mitre 10 retail manager Stacey Stylianou said this was the third year in a row the store had picked up the award.
“We found out last Thursday (October 6),” Ms Stylianou said.
“Every Mitre 10 across Tasmania and Victoria are in the running.
“It feels really good to win again. The other two which we picked up we only got last year due to COVID-19 restrictions.
“Our owner Gary Woodruff and our operations manager Brad Collette went down to the awards day.”
Ms Stylianou said the criteria for the award was tough so the whole staff were very proud of the achievement.
“It is about good customer service, how it’s set up, how its maintained, the look of it and sales numbers,” Ms Stylianou said.
“It takes everything into account.”
