When Marysia Piechowska was looking for a location to open an osteopathy clinic, she fell in love with Benalla.

“I started Benalla Osteopathy in November 2022,” Marysia said.

“I’ve always really liked Benalla. We’d often stopped off when driving past, or taking a holiday.

“A few years ago my partner and I had decided to move from Melbourne so we thought we’d take a chance on living in the country.

“And we fell in love with it.”

En-route to moving to Benalla, Marysia and her partner had been living and working in Shepparton and Echuca for two years.

While in Shepparton she said she saw a need in Benalla for an osteopathy clinic.

“That prompted me to start Benalla Osteopathy,” she said.

Marysia brings a wealth of industry experience and skills to the role.

“I graduated in 2019 from Victoria University in Melbourne with a Bachelor of Health Science and a Master of Clinical Science,” she said.

“Whilst studying I did an internship with the Western Jets Football Club, they play in the NAB League.

“After graduating I worked in osteopathy in Heidelberg for about six months before moving to the country.

“I have a strong interest in treating a variety of injuries and concerns.

“I understand how pain can interfere with life and the importance of getting back on track.

“I take on a personalised and compassionate approach to ensure I can meet your movement and recovery goals.

“With osteopathy we are in the same realm as a physiotherapist or chiropractor.

“I can help with things like managing symptoms of osteoarthritis, or any arthritis, as well as sporting injuries, headaches, back pain, or any niggle someone might have.

"I have experience in positional vertigo in the specific sense I can diagnose it and offer ways to treat it.

Benalla Osteopathy is based within the Benalla Podiatry Centre at 28 Margaret St, Benalla.
