If so, nominations are now open for the 2025 Benalla Rural City Australia Day awards and will be accepted until 5pm on Monday, December 2, in the following categories:
- Citizen of the Year (over 26 years on January 26, 2025)
- Young Citizen of the Year (18-25 years on January 26, 2025)
- Junior Citizen of the Year (12-17 years on January 26, 2025)
- District Achiever of the Year
- Community Event/Project of the Year
- Community Group/Organisation of the Year.
Benalla Rural City Australia Day awards provide an opportunity to celebrate the achievements and contributions that individuals and local groups have made to the wider community.
Guidelines and the online nomination form is available from www.benalla.vic.gov.au/ or upon request at council’s Customer Service Centre, 1 Bridge St East.
Award winners will be announced at the Benalla Rural City Australia Day event on January 26.
