The Committee of the Benalla A & P Society has made the difficult decision to cancel the Benalla Spring Show.
It posted this advice to its Facebook page:
“The Committee of the Benalla A & P Society are devastated to announce that following the advice of Victoria Police we have made the decision to cancel the 2022 Benalla Spring Show due to impending flood risk.
“For exhibitors who have delivered pavilion exhibits these will be available for collection by appointment next week (October 17-23) after the flood risk eases. We will have all items safe in the office.
“To say we are devastated is an understatement.
“Please bear with us as we work through a lot of logistics.
“Thank you again to all our volunteers, exhibitors and sponsors.”
