Great mates Angus Leavold and Jude Binion have raised more than $2300 for the Leukaemia Foundation.

The St Joseph’s Primary School Year 6 students decided to take part in the World’s Greatest Shave, then watched the generosity of the community unfold as the funds rolled in.

Angus’s mum Claire Leavold said the boys set up individual fundraising pages seeking sponsorship.

“Jude raised a whopping $1640 and Angus’s final tally was $742,” Ms Leavold said.

“The boy's primary school was more than happy to host the big day during their school assembly.

“Jude's cousin, Dempsey, kindly donating her time and hairdressing skills.”

Angus and Jude's friends and family are extremely proud of them for having the courage to be brave and shave; and are very grateful to everyone who donated and supported them.
