Big sporting weekend for young netballers

Junior local netballers at the Vixens game in Melbourne on Sunday.

The Tocumwal Bloods junior netballers had an exciting weekend with a great round of games on Saturday against Picola United, then a trip to Melbourne on Sunday.

The club and generous sponsors arranged for the juniors to travel to Melbourne by bus on Sunday to watch the Melbourne Vixens play against the NSW Swifts.

The group stopped at Nagambie for an early lunch before travelling through to John Cain Arena.

To sweeten the day, the Vixens even came out victorious with a 20-goal win.

After stopping at Wallan for dinner, the bus delivered the group back to Tocumwal at 9pm.

The girls all had an incredible day and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
