If you’re worried about where to find some fresh, beautiful flowers to show your appreciation on Mother's Day, Blooms on Bridge has you covered.
While its shopfront closed earlier in the year, it will have a pop-up stall outside Spot 4 Icecream on Saturday and Sunday, May 11 and 12.
And, of course, it is still offering fresh bouquets at the Cake Maker’s Daughter Cafe on Nunn St every weekday.
Blooms owner Mandy Fita said if you grab a bouquet on Thursday or Friday from TCMD, they will also have special Mother's Day cakes available.
“We are at Cake Maker’s all week, and you can grab a Mother's Day cupcake and a coffee there as well,” Mandy said.
“Of course it’s not open on a weekend, so if you can’t get in early we’ll have bouquets available at a pop-up stall.
“So we’ll have giftware and flower stall at Spot 4 Icecream (2/202-208 Bridge St East).
“On Saturday we’ll be there from 8.30am to 1pm, and on Sunday from 8.30am to noon.
“You can also grab some treats from them while you’re there.
“They do 50 flavours of ice cream, fresh donuts, lollies, milkshakes, smoothies, coffee and numerous other treats for mums with a sweet tooth.
“And we will still have pre-orders and deliveries available in the meantime.”
