In the name of Book Week, beloved characters gained the ultimate inside information in a venture to the library.

On Friday, August 25, Mooroopna Primary School Prep students walked to Mooroopna Library in Book Week costumes.

The 40 kids had a story read and an activity provided by the librarian, connecting the next generation of readers with their local library.

All year levels got into the spirit, dressing up to celebrate the week’s end of a book-based activity storm.

News photographer Rechelle Zammit visited the school to check out the page-turning styles.
