A huge contingent of bowlers swept into town at the weekend for Mathoura Bowling Club’s Millewa Open 2 Bowl Triples.
Play was on both Saturday and Sunday.
Not all the results were available at the time of submitting this column.
But I can tell you Team Werner was the winner, Team Callow was runner-up and Team Shaw placed third.

District residents have been saddened to learn of the sudden passing of former local Adam Taylor.
Adam (51) was the son of Pam and the late ‘Snow ‘ Taylor.
Sympathy is extended to Pam, Adam’s wife Jody and the family.
