Three seperate incidents in Shepparton and the wider region kept police and emergency service busy on Friday night.
The King’s Birthday long weekend has already seen an alleged hit-and-run, two men rescued from floodwaters and a teenager extracted from a three-metre fall on Mount Buller.
Police say a woman was seriously injured during an alleged hit-and-run in Shepparton at around 11.15pm on Friday, June 9, by a teenager who only got her licence that day.
Earlier, two men were rescued from floodwaters in Miepoll after becoming trapped at around 10.20pm.
The pair were travelling along O’Farrell Rd when they drove into what they thought was a large puddle along the Seven Creeks, between Euroa and Shepparton.

Police also say an 18-year-old man had a lucky escape after his vehicle drove off a cliff at Mount Buller.
The Warrnambool man was travelling along Mount Muller Rd at Mirimbah when his Holden Trailblazer left the road and fell about three metres just before 11pm.
