The 2025 cohort of Fairley Leadership has embarked on their program journey, with three representatives hailing from the Campaspe region.
Campaspe's own Phoebe Dillon, Izzy Rees, and Maree Harris are representing their community as part of this esteemed leadership program.
Alongside 17 fellow emerging leaders, they participated in the Opening Intensive Retreat on March 5 and 6, fostering connections at The Paddock in Ulupna, near Strathmerton, on Bangarang Country.
Participants immersed themselves in a cultural tour, delving into the region's rich history. They engaged in team-building exercises and gained insights from inspiring guest speakers, all alumni of the Fairley program.
The Fairley Leadership program is delivered by Goulburn Murray Community Leadership, aims to equip a select group of community leaders with the skills to continue to address local issues and drive community initiatives.
Over the next year, these 20 aspiring leaders will undergo intensive professional development, honing their leadership skills through practical site visits and valuable discussions with influential decision-makers.
Jesse Mitchell, executive officer of Goulburn Murray Community Leadership said she was “thrilled” to welcome the next round of participants and see them grow.
“We are grateful to our sponsors, supporters and alumni for making this experience special for this year’s cohort,” she said.
