Campaspe Shire Council election provisional results announced

Provisional results for the Campaspe Shire Council Local Government election were announced on Thursday, November 7.

The computer calculation results were tallied at the official Campaspe Shire electorate office, the former Echuca-Moama Information Centre.

Successful candidates in the Campaspe Shire Council provisional results included: Rob Amos, Jessica Mitchell, Paul Jarman, John Zobec, Luke Sharrock, Tony Marwood, Adrian Weston, Daniel Mackrell and Zoe Cook.

Unsuccessful candidates in provisional results included: Michael Farrant, Deb Chumbley and Brett Ould.

There were 22,928 formal votes and 1293 informal votes tallied, with a total of 24,221 votes processed.

An official declaration ceremony will take place at 3pm on Friday, November 8, where the nine councillor-elects will be officially announced.

Councillor-elects will be then sworn in to Campaspe Shire Council officially on Tuesday, November 12.
