Car pushed into power pole in Numurkah crash

A car was pushed 80m into a power pole in Numurkah in a two-vehicle crash on Monday, but no-one was injured.

Emergency services responded to a two-car collision on Monday, June 5 at 8.30pm.

Police said an Audi sedan travelling east on Naring Rd allegedly did not stop at a stop sign and the vehicle, and a hatchback wagon travelling south on Numurkah Rd, collided.

The wagon was pushed 80m before hitting a concrete pole, police said.

The Audi was driven by a Shepparton man and had one passenger, while the wagon was occupied by four international workers from Fiji, police said.

No-one was hurt in the crash according to police.

The Shepparton man will be issued with a penalty notice for careless driving and failing to stop at a stop sign.
