Moira Shire chief executive Clare Keenan has resigned.
On Monday, September 4, the council said the resignation was effective immediately.
Panel of administrators chair John Tanner thanked Ms Keenan for her contributions to the shire over the past two years.
“We wish Clare all the best for the future,” Mr Tanner said.
Ms Keenan has been on indefinite leave since the commission of inquiry into Moira Shire Council released its findings in March, with her position being filled by acting chief executive Joshua Lewis.
The findings, which highlighted poor governance and a toxic work atmosphere, led to the sacking of all the shire’s councillors.
Council has since been placed under the control of a panel of administrators, with elections for a new council postponed until 2028.
