A quick response prevented a fire from growing out of control in Kyabram.
On Tuesday, January 14, firefighters responded to reports of a fire on Nurtja Dve at about 11.28am.
The fire was attended to by Kyabram, Tongala and Girgarre CFA units.
On arrival, crews found a 10m by 5m timber stack on fire and quickly began work to contain the situation.
The incident was declared safe at 11.56am.
Kyabram Fire Brigade posted on its social media following the incident and said the fire was small.
CFA Victoria confirmed no cause of the fire had been identified, and no investigation would follow.
