If you’ve ever had a pressing concern or issue relating to your community, the opportunity has arrived to consult those who can help.

On Thursday, November 28, the Boosey Creek Cafe is hosting a Coffee with a Cop event.

Katamatite Police Station’s Leading Senior Constable Phil Armstrong said the free event was a chance for community members to engage with local police and share their thoughts in an informal environment.

“A lot of people in town don’t have regular contact with police,” Leading Sen Constable Armstrong said.

“This is an initiative to facilitate some contact, and give people the opportunity to share their thoughts on local community issues.”

Police officers from across Moira Shire hope to be in attendance.

Coffee and cake will be provided at no expense to guests by the Boosey Creek Cafe and Katamatite Lions Club.

The free event will run from 9am to 10.30am at the Boosey Creek Cafe on 31-33 Beek St, Katamatite.

The event is supported by the Boosey Creek Cafe and Katamatite Lions Club.
