If you thought it was a bit cold when you awoke this morning, you weren’t wrong.
The mercury dropped to a chilly -1.5℃ overnight in Shepparton, with the coldest time coming around 6.50am.
It was the coldest morning so far this month, and the only time the temperature has dropped below 0℃ in July so far.
It is also the equal coldest night in Shepparton this winter — with -1.5℃ also recorded on both June 20 and 21.
There was also plenty of fog around outside the city for those up early enough to see it.
A chilly -1℃ is forecast for Wednesday, before the overnight temperatures improve a little, with a forecast of 3℃ on Thursday, 5℃ on Friday, 3℃ on Saturday and 4℃ on Sunday.
Daytime temperatures until Sunday are forecast to range between 13℃ and 15℃.
