Shepparton Brewery is donating all sales of its Christmas beer to help Shepparton FoodShare ease the pressure on families these holidays.
The Christmas-spiced brown ale beer, named Bing Crosby in honour of the singer synonymous with the holiday, is made especially by the brewery for this time of year.
“It can be a pretty hard time of year for people, so we want to give back and help Shepparton FoodShare to spread the Christmas cheer,” Shepparton Brewery owner Daina Winch said.
“If you’ve got a Kris Kringle or someone to buy for, come and support Shepparton FoodShare.”
Shepparton Brewery runs community chest nights to raise money for local charities but Ms Winch said they had been too busy recently, so this was a different way to give back.
The donations will support Shepparton FoodShare, which distributes food to emergency relief organisations that support those in need in the local community.
The Christmas beer is packaged in holiday-themed cans and is available at Shepparton Brewery, 15 Edward St, Shepparton, at $18 for a four-pack.
