Stanhope is welcoming the community back to its streets for the popular Community Monster Garage Sale, with stallholders offering special Christmas treasures for savvy shoppers.

Held on the second Sunday of every month, the December 8 edition will be the grand finale sale for 2024, celebrating a year’s worth of community-lead commerce.

Festive decorations will adorn the town as shoppers explore a treasure trove of Christmas bargains, locally made handcrafts, unique woodwork from Shaque a Taque, an array of plant stalls, and charming bric-a-brac at numerous garage sale-style stalls.

Stanhope Development Committee member Christine Dicketts said there was a lot to be excited about for this upcoming monster garage sale.

“There will be lots of Christmas bargains on offer, come along and pick up that special, unique gift for the person in your life who seems to have everything,” Mrs Dicketts said.

“There are some very unusual items at the garage sale, and you will be pleased at what you discover and could potentially purchase.”

Visitors can relax and socialise over a delicious barbecue and aromatic coffee while enjoying live performances by local musician Alia, creating a warm community atmosphere.

Don't miss this opportunity to explore the Stanhope CBD transformed by the sale from 8.30am to 1pm — it's a chance to uncover fantastic deals and support community initiatives.
