People of Shepparton got to be Italian for the day on Saturday, March 16.

The Shepparton Italian Festa returned to the Shepparton Showgrounds after a three-year hiatus.

From noon, people came to enjoy a variety of food stalls, market stalls and entertainment.

Food stalls at the event included 400 Gradi - wood-fired pizza, Abruzzo Lab, Arancini Art, Dolci Momenti and many others.

There also were performances from the Veneto Club Choir, Rosa Tarantella Group, Mia Sorella Trio, DJ Lady Bove, and many more.

News photographer Rechelle Zammit went along to capture the Italian-themed fun.
