State Member for Euroa Annabelle Cleeland said she had a great time at the return of the Australian National Show and Shine along the Seven Creeks bank at the weekend.

Ms Cleeland opened the event on Sunday, October 1 with a speech, before joining the Rotary Club of Euroa to prepare a morning barbecue for event attendees.

The annual car and bike show received high praise, with Ms Cleeland declaring it a resounding success.

“The show and shine in Euroa is an exceptional showcase of what our region has to offer,” she said.

“The vehicles on display were truly incredible, as they always are, and it was fantastic to see so many local vendors operating, too.

“It’s a day that isn’t possible without dedicated and tireless work from volunteers, including the event organisers.

“I want to personally thank all those who contributed to making it such a successful day.”

The Australian National Show and Shine isn’t your typical car and bike show.

This annual event features unique vehicles from all eras, local market stalls, live music, children’s entertainment and more.

Ms Cleeland expressed her honour at participating in an event with such a rich regional tradition.

“Each year, the streets of Euroa and the Seven Creeks Park are filled with people, both local and visitors from all over the country,” she said.

“This is an event that gets to showcase our beautiful region to visitors and provides a significant boost to the local economy.

“It was a privilege to be invited to participate and open such a wonderful event, and I’m already looking forward to next year.”
