Clue is the latest Kyabram Theatre Group offering

All the usual suspects: Kyabram Theatre Group actors during rehearsal for the three shows of their new production, Clue, on August 11 and 12 at Kyabram P-12 College.

Rehearsals for Kyabram Theatre Group’s latest presentation, Clue, have started, with three shows planned for August.

The entertaining murder-mystery performance will keep audiences on the edge of their seats while also giving them a laugh while they nibble on their choice of BYO food and drinks.

The shows will be held at the Kyabram P-12 College Hall at 7pm on August 11 and 1pm and 7pm on August 12.

Producers have guaranteed it will be a show to remember!

Cast member Rachel Cook plays Mrs White, a woman who has killed all her husbands. The character is described as a pale, morbid and tragic woman who, we find, may or may not be involved in yet another murder.

For Ms Cook, learning the many lines to create a character so unlike her own has been an enjoyable challenge.

She has enjoyed working with everyone in the group and, this year, has taken on more responsibility as KTG secretary.

Ms Cook said the show was progressing well, noting that the room was filled with laughter most rehearsal nights.

Lachlan Rodriquez plays Professor Plum, an arrogant ladies’ man.

The character is a scholar who finds himself in a pickle.

Lachie became involved in KTG because he likes drama and acting. He is glad to be a part of the team working towards the final product.

In her first foray as director, Jodee Shead is proud of her small but dedicated group of amateur actors. The cast has rallied despite the winter colds and flus going round, and the mystery show is progressing well.

The Kyabram community is encouraged to come along to find out what happens. Tickets are available from Fab Flowers or via: www.trybooking.com/events/landing/1047034
