Coaches to replace trains on some Seymour services

Disruption: Seymour line travellers are advised there will disruption to some upcoming services.

V/Line says coaches will replace some evening train services on the Seymour line from Sunday, January 15 to Wednesday, January 18.

The disruption is for the entire journey and is due to V/Line maintenance works.

Commuters have been advised to allow an additional 50 minutes on their regular journey time.

All train services will be replaced by a mix of express and stopping-all-stations coach services.

More information will be available from V/Line staff.

Sunday, January 15

From Southern Cross: The 9.45pm service will be replaced by coaches to Seymour for the entire journey.

Monday, January 16 to Wednesday January 18

From Southern Cross: The 9.43pm service will be replaced by coaches to Seymour for the entire journey.

From Seymour: The 9.56pm service will be replaced by coaches to Southern Cross for the entire journey.

General information

There is limited space for bicycles on V/Line trains and coach replacement services.

No pets or hot food/liquids allowed on replacement coaches. Cold packaged foods can be consumed on V/Line coach services. All drink containers must have a secure, screw-top, fastening or spill-proof lid.

Passengers require a valid myki or paper ticket to travel on all V/Line replacement coach services. Touch on and touch off your myki to ensure you pay the correct fare.

In Melbourne, coaches will arrive and depart from the Southern Cross Station coach terminal located on Spencer St, opposite Little Bourke St.
