Burson Auto Parts, located on Broadway St in Cobram, has donated one hot-wash pressure washer and a floor scrubber to the SES for the service to install at its brand new building.

Cobram branch manager Dean Herezo said they wanted to give back to the community and they thought the SES would be an ideal organisation.

“We just wanted to give back and chose the SES as they have been quite active with the recent floods and then the terrible car crashes,” he said.

“They seemed like a great organisation to give to.”

Mr Herezo approached the SES and asked what they might like donated and with their new facility soon to be open, the SES asked for the cleaning equipment.

The hot-wash pressure washer will be used to clean down equipment including the vehicles while the floor scrubber will help ensure the building itself remains as shiny as possible.

SES Cobram’s treasurer and welfare officer Carrie Hawke was ecstatic about the donation.

“On behalf the Cobram SES unit, a big thank you must go to Burson Auto Parts in helping us with much-needed machinery,” Ms Hawke said.

“These cleaners will be very much used to keep our new headquarters in top condition,” she said.
