MS Constructions Pty Ltd has won the Best Custom Home prize at the 2023 Master Builders North-East Regional Building Awards.

The home, which was entered in the one to two million dollar bracket, took out the prestigious award at a ceremony at the Commercial Club in Albury on Friday, July 7.

MS Constructions owner and director Matt Sim said he was ecstatic about the win.

“It’s just a great feeling to win the award. It shows the commitment of our team and reinforces the work they are doing,” he said.

The house took 12 months to build.

It’s not the first award the company, which has been operating for 14 years, has won, and Mr Sim said building an award-winning house was a team effort.

“It’s about collaboration between a good architect and a building company dedicated to building the client’s dream,” he said.

“The original builder tragically died in a car accident and MS Constructions took the project on from the early design phases,” Mr Sim said.

“It was a privilege to do the house for that local builder, as he was well known for his quality of homes.”

Mr Sim said we wanted to thank everyone who made winning the award possible.

“We would like to thank all our local trades and suppliers because without them it would be impossible to do what we do,” he said.
