Along with academic development there is a great emphasis on personal development with the school working collaboratively with families.

Prep students, like all students at the school, have access to a full-time social worker as well as wellbeing team programs, such as daily breakfast club and a Foundation/Year 6 buddy program, that helps ensure that the new students have a healthy school life

Cobram Primary School also offers a Pre-prep program prior to students commencing their Foundation year. This has proven to be beneficial for students and their families as it helps ensure a smooth transition to full-time schooling.
