Cobram residents have raised $2097 for the Royal Children’s Hospital Appeal Raffle.

The raffle was organised by Kath and Ron Renfrew, who have been raising money for the children’s hospital for several years.

“We do a lot of fundraising. We have been raising money for the RCH for a few years. We also raise money for Heart Kids,” Mr Renfrew said.

Mr Renfrew said the money raised this year was roughly double the money raised the previous year.

The raffle had four prizes.

First prize was a gift basket from D'Vine Ideas won by Jedda Crighton.

Second prize was a $150 Woolworths gift voucher won by Gary Cooper.

Third prize was a gift basket from Discount Drug Store won by Doug Wright.

Fourth prize was a barbecue set from IGA won by Nancy Grillo.

Mr Renfrew said the total money raised was a testament to the generosity of Cobram residents.

“Thank you to all the residents who brought tickets or made a donation,” he said.
