Coleambally Uniting Church is inviting everyone to come along to its ‘Camels by Candlelight and Christmas Box Party’.
It’s being held this Friday from 3.30pm, and promises games, carols and food.
The evening begins with activities for the kids, including party games, a Christmas story, songs and a choice of cooking, craft, music or sports or outdoor games.
A sausage sizzle dinner will be served from 5.30pm, with icecream for dessert, followed by a water balloon fight.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a change of cloths so they can be comfortable when the carols start from about 6pm.
The annual box party game will be held immediately following carols, about 6.30pm.
All guests are asked to bring a small wrapped present for the game.
Supper will then be served, with guests asked to bring a plate to share.
To help run these events, the church is looking for youth leaders, aged 13 to 19 who can volunteer their time.
For more information about the event or to offer your time as a volunteer, call Nat Burke on 0429 722 613 or Kat Hardy on 0409 207 252.
