Dying to Know Day

Dying to Know Day is a free advance care forum and an opportunity for the Seymour community to come together and learn the importance of advance care planning.

This event is held by the Lions Club of Seymour Goulburn and Gentle Transitions Advocacy and Support, hosted by Bianca Hurle.

Dying to Know Day is on today, Wednesday, August 7, from 1.30pm to 4pm at the Senior Citizens Hall, 80 Anzac Ave, Seymour.

Goulburn River Trail parkrun

The Goulburn River Trail parkrun starts at New Crossing Place on Manners St, Seymour, offering a picturesque route along the river on Saturdays.

It’s a fantastic way to enjoy the outdoors, stay active and connect with the community.

All are welcome to join this celebration of health and community spirit.

Join the fun at New Crossing Place from 8am to 9.30am each Saturday.

Winter Wonderland

Strathbogie Shire Council has announced the return of the highly popular Winter Wonderland event this August.

After a successful event in 2022, Jacobson’s Outlook, Nagambie, the old Gambles Nursery Site on Binney St, Euroa, and the newly added site at Jubilee Park, Avenel, will be transformed with winter magic.

The Winter Wonderland will be at Avenel’s Jubilee Park on Saturday, August 10, from 11am to 7pm, and Sunday, August 11, from 11am to 4pm.

The last Winter Wonderland event will be in Euroa on Saturday, August 24, from 11am to 7pm, and Sunday, August 25, from 11am to 4pm.
