Community grants up for grabs

Grants: Not-for-profit organisations can apply for financial support.

Residents can now apply for round one of Campaspe Shire Council’s 2024-25 community grants.

The community grants program offers financial support to not-for-profit organisations to deliver a range of initiatives to improve the lives of people in the community.

Campaspe Shire Mayor Rob Amos said the grants program was a great way to help provide funding to support community groups, clubs and associations with a broad range of projects to enhance Campaspe’s strong, supportive, vibrant and sustainable community.

“A maximum of $4000 can be applied to support the delivery of programs, projects and activities that encourage locals to get more involved in the community,” he said.

“Applications will be assessed against set criteria and funding recommendations will be based on each application’s outcome in improving the quality of life for our residents and making our shire more vibrant and stimulating.”

Applications for the grant program close at 5pm on Friday, April 12.

Applicants needing assistance with their application are encouraged to contact the council’s community partnership team on 1300 666 535.
