Face-to-face surveys are taking place until Monday, June 19 as part of the fourth-quarter Local Government Community Satisfaction Survey.

Research resource company Thinkfield is conducting surveys to see if the council is meeting expectations for the services it provides.

This is the second round of interviews Thinkfield has undertaken in Greater Shepparton, with the first round consisting of randomised telephone interviews of residents aged over 18 years.

Thinkfield is in the area to conduct in-person surveys, with residents encouraged to take part if they are approached. All responses are confidential and are grouped with others.

Council director of corporate services Chris Teitzel said the surveys were a useful tool for councils to gather feedback directly from residents.

“The survey gathers impressions on the services, facilities and activities council provides and is a great insight into the ways council can improve its service delivery,” he said.

“I encourage people to provide us with their honest opinion on council’s performance and services.”
