Campaspe Shire Council and Murray River Council have collaborated to launch the Visit Echuca Moama tourism campaign this week.

Visit Echuca Moama looks to promote the region as a must-visit destination, showcasing its unique experiences and position on the Murray River.

“We look forward to working closely with Murray River Council to showcase our region’s stunning natural beauty and diverse attractions,” Campaspe Shire Mayor Daniel Mackrell said.

Visit Echuca Moama will enhance our collective efforts to engage visitors, support local tourism operators and grow our vibrant visitor economy.”

The launch includes a range of marketing initiatives, including a Visit Echuca Moama website, new social media channels, and digital and traditional campaigns to connect with a wide range of audiences.

The councils have collaborated with a destination marketing agency to develop a strong digital campaign over summer.

This will showcase attractions like the paddle steamers, riverside dining, its history, and outdoor adventures.

A three-month television campaign will also promote these attractions and encourage visitors to plan a visit through the Visit Echuca Moama website.

“By investing in innovative marketing strategies, we are ensuring Echuca Moama continues to thrive as a destination of choice,” Murray River Council Mayor John Harvie said.

“Visitors and tourism operators alike can look forward to continued promotion, collaboration, and growth through the Visit Echuca Moama campaign.”

The social media campaign is the first element to launch, with the website and TV campaign soon to follow.

Their Facebook page can be reached at visitechucamoama, visitechuca_moama on Instagram and the new website is visitechucamoama.com.au
