9.45AM FRIDAY UPDATE:
Senior Constable Jarryd Tinning from Tatura Police Station said there were two cars involved in the collision at the intersection of Dhurringile Rd and Midland Hwy.
A Toyota Camry driven by a 52-year-old man was travelling north on Dhurringile Rd when it collided with a Ford station wagon driven by a 59-year-old man who was travelling west on the Midland Hwy.
The Toyota Camry had three other passengers in the car.
As of Friday morning no charges had been laid, police said.
9AM FRIDAY UPDATE: Four people were taken to hospital after a crash on the Midland Hwy at Tatura on Thursday, June 1.
An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said a man believed to be in his 50s was taken to Goulburn Valley Health with upper body injuries, while a woman believed to be in her 20s was taken to hospital with upper body pain.
Both were in a stable condition when taken by ambulance.
One primary school-aged child and one toddler were taken to GV Health for observation in stable conditions, the Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said.
One person did not require emergency treatment or transport.
THURSDAY: Emergency services are on the scene of a crash at Tatura on Thursday, June 1.
Police said the crash involving two or three vehicles happened on the Midland Hwy about 5.30pm.
It was at the Dhurringile Rd/Hopper Rd intersection with the Midland Hwy.
An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said four people including two children were assessed and taken to Goulburn Valley Health by ambulance
The section of highway is closed, with traffic being diverted around the scene.
Drivers should avoid the area if possible.
