David Bott wants to get back to basics

David Bott said as a newly elected Federation Councillor he would strive to meet the community’s expectations of good governance, transparency and accountability.

Well-known local farmer David Bott has put his hand up to stand for Federation Council in the upcoming NSW Local Government Election on September 14.

David has lived and worked his entire life within the former Corowa Shire and now Federation Council and aims to fulfil the community’s expectations of their council.

“My family has a strong history of involvement with sporting clubs and community organisations throughout our local area,” David said.

“Local Government should be about getting the basics right, which ultimately are essential services, maintaining roads, developing and managing public spaces, ensuring good planning and development and providing reliable and efficient rubbish collection.

“My aim is to provide the community with the essential services it both needs and can afford.

“I am standing for a council that meets the community’s expectations of good governance, transparency and accountability.

“My intentions, if elected, are to participate in the management of the whole area of Federation Council and its progress will be my only concern and the welfare of its people my only allegiance.

“I ask for your support – Vote 1 David Bott on September 14.”
