A group of Deni friends made the trip to Echuca last weekend for a movie afternoon.
The feature film of the day was Thelma.
It tells the story of 93 year-old Thelma Post, who gets duped by a phone scammer pretending to be her grandson.
She then sets out on a treacherous quest across the city to reclaim what was taken from her.
They all enjoyed the adventure movie - including the group’s very own fun-loving and adventurous Thelma Thompson.
The group stayed on in Echuca-Moama for dinner before returning to Deniliquin.
