The Tocumwal Community Development Committee (TCDC) held a general meeting last week and welcomed several new members who really joined in the spirit of volunteering and planning events for our community.

The Christmas in July event was the main topic of the meeting with music, catering and drinks service all locked in.

The raffle for the evening is also progressing well with some generous donors, both local and from further afield.

If you are a local business and would like to promote yourself through a donation of a voucher to help, drawn at the event, please get in touch with president John Stringer by calling 0438 881 994.

Or the group’s next meeting is on Tuesday, May 14 at 7pm at the Terminus Hotel front room. New members are welcome to attend.

The Christmas in July event is planned for Saturday, July 20 from 6pm at the Tocumwal War Memorial Hall.
