Yalinwa, named after the Taungurung word for ‘today’, is Trawool Estate’s newest addition to their facilities.

With a bright and clean white motif, and the view of the Trawool Valley, the space is a luxurious spa and salon where guests can indulge and enjoy a relaxing day at Trawool.

“’Today’ is what we want people to focus on,” Trawool Estate general manager Todd Roberts said.

“Being in the moment, being present, and to stop and think about breathing and relaxation ... I guess that is what we really want them to do.”

When Yalinwa opened in late August, the first guests to take advantage of the new facility were members of a bridal party.

“When we first used it, it was a bride and her bridal party getting ready here before their wedding,” Mr Roberts said.

“We quite often do weddings, especially throughout summer, so they got ready here.

“They got married across the road at our property, and then had their wedding reception, so they had full exclusive use of the hotel.”

Mr Roberts said it was such a great facility for the bridal party to get ready in on the wedding day, as the guests didn’t have to get ready in their hotel suites, which is the norm.

“They got space to move around, go outside on the balcony if they wish,” he said.

Soon, the spa and salon will be open for hotel guests and locals to use and enjoy some much-needed ‘me’ time.

For now, Trawool Estate is on a lookout for an exceptional individual or team to rent and operate the spa space, delivering luxurious massage and facial services to discerning guests.

“Each week, The Trawool Estate welcomes hundreds of visitors who are eager for top-tier wellness treatments,” Trawool Estate’s Amanda Smith said.

“We’ve provided the perfect setting; now we need someone to bring their expertise and passion to this exciting venture.

“If you are an experienced spa therapist or wellness practitioner looking for a prime opportunity to showcase your talents in a high-end setting, Yalinwa could be the ideal platform for you.

“By partnering with the Trawool Estate, you will have access to a steady stream of clients and a beautifully designed space, already equipped for luxury services.”
