Are you keen to make a splash this summer with free pool parties, inflatable games, outdoor movies, and sizzling barbeques across Strathbogie Shire?
Well, the Strathbogie Shire Council is excited to deliver the 2024-25 summer aqua funfest.
From December to March there will be Splash Park activities at Nagambie and pool parties at the Violet Town, Euroa, Avenel and Nagambie featuring fun inflatable games, free barbeques and outdoor cinema screenings.
Strathbogie Shire Council Mayor Claire Ewart-Kennedy said this was a great opportunity for families to come along and be emersed in these fun-filled activities.
“The first party is set to make a splash on Saturday, December 7, from 3pm at the Violet Town Swimming Pool,” Cr Ewart-Kennedy said.
“The pool party series promises activities for young residents with inflatable on-land games, free entry, outdoor cinema screenings and food provided by the Friends of the Pool volunteers.
“Best of all, each pool party is entirely free of charge as council is committed to providing inclusive and engaging events for the youth in our community.”
The Violet Town pool party will be the first of the series with seven more taking place between 2024 and 2025 at Euroa, Violet Town, Avenel and Nagambie swimming pools.
The dates for the inflatable attraction pool parties are as follows:
January 15, 2025 - Avenel Pool - 3pm - 6:30pm
