Don't miss Allegro's 'Romantic Comedy' sensation!

Allegro Theatre Company added a touch of ‘Romance’ on the weekend with their new exciting show, ‘Romantic Comedy’ currently playing in Yarrawonga. Local Allegro Theatre Company latest show, the Bernard Slade's play, 'Romantic Comedy' has been a hit with audiences.

Allegro spokesperson Barb MacDermid said the first two performances were a “total hit” in many ways.

“Cabaret theatre lovers were totally relaxed, engaged and highly entertained by the cast who had committed to their roles in Romantic Comedy,” Barb said.

“The audience was genuinely complimentary in their responses after the show.”

Barb said some of the comments included;

  • "We cannot believe that the cast can remember all those lines and bring their characters to life' 'an amazing play!”

The Sunday matinee also attracted great attendance, with two audience members returning to see the show after being in the audience on Friday and Saturday nights.

“There are only two more shows to attend for everyone in our towns,” Barb said.

“We also appreciate the Yarrawonga Chronicle and photographer Les Garbutt support along with the wider community.”

Dates for the remaining performances are; this Friday and Saturday, November 22, 23 at the St Andrews Uniting Church Hall, Yarrawonga starting 7.30pm and November 30 at the Wilby Hall, also starting at 7.30pm. All shows are cabaret style.
