A driver who has allegedly returned a breath test result of 0.245 is set to appear in Echuca Magistrates’ Court at a date to be determined.
Officers were patrolling the Echuca CBD about 1.20am on Sunday when they observed a grey utility erratically in Annesley St.
The driver, a 49-year-old male, struggled to navigate a roundabout and was intercepted for a preliminary breath test, which allegedly returned a positive result.
The man accompanied police to the police station where he completed a breath test and allegedly returned a result of 0.245.
The man’s licence was immediately suspended and his vehicle has been impounded for 30 days at a cost $1005.
