From Saturday, November 16, early voting will open for the Berrigan Shire Council by-election.

As fewer nominations were received than there were posts to fill at this year’s NSW local government elections in September, a by-election must be held to fill the remaining position on the council.

With only seven of eight councillor positions filled, there remains one position on the Berrigan Shire Council to fill.

The by-election will be held on Saturday, November 23. Voting is compulsory.

Find out more information about the upcoming by-election through the council’s website at https://tinyurl.com/2p8mueyc or contact the council on (03) 5888 5100.
