The small town of Wood Point, Victoria was the epicentre of a 4.1 magnitude earthquake at 3.48am on Wednesday, August 7.
The quake was felt in Benalla and district, more than 150km from its source, which was also 10km underground.
Emergency services received more than 2000 reports as the seismic activity was felt across eastern and central Victoria.
