East Shepparton Bowls Club is holding a Biggest Morning Tea to support cancer treatment and research.

Organiser Josie Italia is encouraging the community to enjoy a lovely morning tea on Friday, May 20 at 10.30am for a very good cause: the fight against cancer.

“We’ll have a scrumptious morning tea, with gluten-free products available,” she said.

“We’re well renowned for our morning tea at East Shepparton Bowls Club.

“Everyone come along and enjoy the morning. It’s bound to be a fun day.”

Admission is $15, which along with raffles, games and stalls will go towards the fundraising goal this year of $500.

But that’s just the minimum target.

Last year the club raised $1500 and saw 200 people attend.

This year Ms Italia said the club was hoping to attract at least 150 people.

“It’s going to be enormous, we’re going to have lots and lots of prizes,” she said.
