Echuca truck driver injured as B-double rolls in Horsham

AN ECHUCA truck driver has escaped serious injury after his B-double full of sheep overturned near Horsham this morning.

Police and emergency workers were called to the single truck rollover in Lower Norton about 8.20am.

The truck, which was travelling north along Noradjuha-Horsham Rd with about 600 head of sheep, lost control and overturned while travelling through an S-bend south of Three Bridges Rd.

The driver, a 31-year-old Echuca man, was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

No other vehicles were involved in the incident.

A vet was called as it is believed a large number of sheep were euthanised as a result of the accident.
